Terms
The agreement, in plain English.
By using AYC (the website at ayc.ljs.app and any related services), you agree to the terms below. They're short on purpose.
What this is
AYC is a searchable index of publicly available YouTube content. We extract questions, objections, and the responses given in those videos, and pair each with a deep link back into the original YouTube video. We do not host the videos. We do not own the underlying content.
What you can do
- Search and browse the index for personal use, education, activism, research, or content production.
- Quote and share clips, with attribution to the original video and channel.
- Suggest new channels for indexing.
What you can't do
- Don't try to break the service — no scraping at scale, no automated abuse, no probing for security flaws without permission.
- Don't use the service to harass anyone.
- Don't claim our index, our extracted text, or our software as your own work.
The service is provided as-is
We make no warranty that the index is complete, current, or error-free. The chunker is an LLM and occasionally misclassifies or misquotes. Always verify against the source video before using a quote in writing or production. The "Open on YouTube" link on every clip is exactly for this purpose.
Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in email secure. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we change them substantively, we'll email registered users.
